Anna Mazzei Drake

Anna Mazzei Drake, age 103, passed away October 29, 2012 at her residence. A longtime resident of Hopewell she had worked at Joel's Jewelers, and a Secretary for Broyhill Ford. She is predeceased by her husband, S. L. "Bill" Drake; parents, Frank and Concetta Mazzei; brothers, Pasquale, and Raymond Mazzei; sisters, Millie Doughtery and Lottie Buyalos; nephews, Michael and Raymond Mazzei Jr. She is survived by two sister in laws, Jean Mazzei, of Hopewell, and Catherine Drake, of Chester; nephew, Fran Mazzei (Terra) of LA, Pasquale Mazzei Jr. ( Mary ) of Hopewell, Richard, Tommy and Bobby Buyalos; Nieces, Patricia Griffin (Roger) of Chester, Frances "Cookie" Leslie ( Earl ) of Hopewell, Susan Mazzei Bell ( Mike ), of Hopewell, and Jane Buyalos; a special friend Margaret Yates of Chester, and a special thank you to her caregivers, Annie Allen, Marsha Carr, Hope Nellis, Theresa Lindsey and Janet Reid. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00PM, Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home Gould Chapel. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, November 2, 2012 at St. James Catholic Church. With burial following in Appomattox Cemetery.
